Ladies reach Cavanagh semi finals

A JOYCE Cavanagh Cup quarter-final match took place at Holm Park on Wednesday last between Dromore Ladies and Divis Ladies.

Home advantage on a very difficult green resulted in Dromore establishing an early lead which they never relinquished.

Dromore now progress to a semi-final tie.

Rink One: B Lindsay, M Ward, J Malcolmson, C Ogle.

Rink Two: M Adair, A McGarrity, M Dawson, L Aiken.

Divis Ladies returned to Holm Park the following day to fulfil a League fixture.

Again they found the combination of the tricky green and the inform locals too much to cope with and had to concede the maximum League points (five).

Rink One: A McGarrity, L Gribben, M Ward, L Aiken.

Rink Two: B Lindsay, I Hamilton, J Malcolmson, C Ogle.

On Thursday May 27 Dromore travel to Larne to play Curran Ladies in a League fixture.
