In the second half Newry began to pressure the Coleraine defence after several attacks they won a penalty corner and scored levelling the game.

This spurred Coleraine into life with good attacks from Alex Balmer, and Claire Adams. Sue Nutt picked up a free hit in midfield with some quick thinking she tapped it and hit on goal with Carol Anne Agnew touching it in to make it 2-1.

Coleraine knew the game was there for the taking and began to push on with good running from Grace Bradley and Zoe Campbell they again found Carol Anne to strike home for her third goal of the day.

With Hilary Andrews moving to midfield the intensity lifted and after a inch perfect pass Grace Bradley broke free and managed to run 25 metres with the ball to score.

Joint players of the match sponsored by Alive Surf School were Hilary Andrews and Claire Adams for their work in defence and intensity in attack.
