Lady President's Day at Portstewart
THE Lady President of Portstewart Golf Club, Kae McCarron, hosted her President's Day on Wednesday 28 July.
As always the lady members turned out in force to support the competition, the evening function and the prize giving that followed the golf. 71 members played on the Strand and 19 on the Riverside course.
Strand results: Winner, Helen Anderson [17] 39 points, Best Gross, Lesley Hemphill [6] 28 gross points, Runner up, Hazel Campbell [29] 38 points, 3rd, Lynne McCartney [29] 36 points. Front nine, Clare Harley [21] 20 points, Back nine, Kay Simpson [35] 23 points. Committee prize, Helen McLaughlin [32] 34 points.
