Larne AC: Strong running from Kane and Noble at Glenariff

First home for Larne was Kane in 56:49 (35th), while Noble recorded a personal best of 60:44 (51st) over the six-mile route.

Noble, alongside Thomas Craig, Stephen McManus and Glenn Lorimer, was back in action 24 hours later at the Jimmy’s 10k Road Race, hosted by East Down Athletic Club in Downpatrick.

Noble was first home for Larne in 38:21 (48th) with Craig completing the race in 42:48 (150th). McManus timed 51:15 (384th), closely followed by Lorimer who ran 51:56 (414th). Both McManus and Lorimer used this event as preparation for this weekend’s Larne Half Marathon.

Elsewhere, Gillian Logan travelled to Belfast’s Ormeau Park to take part in the Addiction NI 10k where she produced a solid run to finish as second female in a time of 45:55. She was just one minute and five seconds behind the winner of the ladies’ race.
