Last chance to nominate in Sports Awards

NOMINATIONS for this year’s Larne Borough Sports Awards close on Friday (December 9) at 4pm.

The success of the event depends on the number and quality of nominations received from the public, schools, clubs and coaches. Now is your opportunity to nominate an eligible team, club or individual residing, or born, in the borough, deserving recognition for their sporting achievements.

There are nine award categories: Sports Performer of the Year, Junior Sports Performer of the Year, Coach of the Year, Team of the Year, Junior Club / Team of the Year, The Challenger Award, Services to Sport Award, Veterans’ Award and the Hall of Fame award.

Nomination forms are available on request from the Sports Development Unit at Larne Leisure Centre, by e-mailing [email protected] or you can download forms at www.larne.gov.uk/sport. Everyone knows someone who could win, so, go on, get your thinking caps on and send in your nominations!
