In a very close finish Reid and Barkley parred the last and were joined by McCormick with a birdie and with a better last three first place went to McCormick with Reid second with a better last six. Penney birdied the last to finish a point behind the placings to take the Gross.

In Division 2 after the Maple Andy Moore (6) was one point ahead of Andrew McLarnon (7) and Richard Lennox (7). Christopher Djorjani (6) and Bernie Frayne (9) were another point behind. James McKay (13) set the early pace after opening with four pars in Division 3 to lead by two points from Trevor Galloway (10). Another two points behind came Eric Boyce (11), Des Cousley (9) and Malcolm Sharpe (10) followed by Denis McCarroll (10) a point away. Galloway led momentarily through Beechers but McKay parred the Grove to regain the lead by one point from Galloway who was a point ahead of Boyce. Cousley and Sharpe were another two points away with McCarroll a further point behind. McKay finished double bogey, par to win by three points from T.Galloway (bogey, double bogey).
