* Sponsored Walk - Mary Kelly is undertaking a sponsored walk from Leitrim to Downpatrick on Friday September 10 in aid of Downe Residential Projects new day-care facilities. This is a charity run facility and all support would be greatly appreciated.

* Poker Classic - The new season of Poker Classics commences on Friday September 3 at 9pm in the Fontenoy Club rooms.

Over the past few seasons the numbers have dropped and that is due to the lack of support from within the club. Hopefully this will be rectified. So come along and bring it back to its former glory.

* Hurling Fixture - U10 Go Games: Saturday September 4 in Warrenpoint.

* Lotto - Thursday August 26: 8, 11, 16, 18. There was no jackpot winner but there were five match three winners: Liam Kelly, Conor O’Higgins, Patsy McGlew, Joanne Feeney and Brendan Burns. The sellers draw was won by O’Hare Tyres. Next week's jackpot is 1400 with the draw to be made in Turley’s Bar.

* The committee and members extend their sympathy to P J McGee and family on the death of his mother in law Susan Keenan. May she rest in peace.
