- An unusual NIWBA rule which states that if a final match of the season is postponed the points are shared meant that Lisnagarvey took 3.5 points at home to Holywood. The Senior League match was washed away by torrential rain on Thursday.

- The Royal British Legion Bowling Club is keen to hear from anyone interested in learning the sport and joining the club. No previous experience is needed as coaching will be provided.
