The out-going chairman John Gray reported that the club had achieved a sound financial footing due to better use of it’s assets and also announced that Lisnagarvey H.C. would, after discussion and a vote, change it’s status to a Community Amateur Sports Club. This would benefit the club in many directions in the years to follow.

He also confirmed the club would be installing solar panels to eventually reduce electricity costs to a significant degree, the panels would be installed during the summer.

The chairman also related the problems the club had encountered over the past season especially with the inauguration of the Irish Hockey League and the difficulties with Ulster Hockey which resulted. However, he was now looking forward to the first season of the I.H.L. with the strength of the league driving Lisnagarvey hockey to an even higher standard.
