Lisneal relay teams go intothe school record books

Two Lisneal Relay teams participated in the Belfast May Day Marathon event, with both teams aiming to set a new school record.

All those taking part achieved their personal best times ensuring Lisneal smashed all previous records. The commitment, effort and team spirit was very evident throughout the race ensuring that a new Lisneal record was set.

Team Two of Craig Smallwoods, Thomas Rutherford, Corey McColgan, Oliver Smith and Jordan Stewart finished in an amazing time of 3 hours, 6 minutes and 59 seconds, which took 6 minutes off previous Year 13 school record.

Team One of Marc Smallwoods, Darren Curry, Matthew Laughlin, Aaron Gardener and William Starrett finished with a super time of 3 hours, 17 minutes and 7 seconds and took seven minutes off the previous Year 12 school record. All runners raised funds for Children In Crossfire.
