Local darts stars take on world

Drifters duo Davy Martin and Davy McFall leave today (Tuesday) with dreams of glory in the World Championship and World Masters respectively.

Martin won the Northern Ireland play-offs for the prestigious World Championships in February and he now competes in the qualifying rounds with the aim of securing a place at the finals at the famous Lakeside Country Club.

He will be joined in Hull by team-mate McFall who competes in the Winmau World Masters, having secured his place by finishing runner-up in the Northern Ireland Masters in March.

The league extends its best wishes to both players for the tournaments.
