Eire Og will play St. Paul’s followed by a clash between last years semi-final pairing of St Peter’s and Wolfe Tones.

On Friday August 9th at St Peter’s, Clan na Gael will play Lurgan rivals Clann Eireann. Sarsfields Senior championship first round game against the winners of Whitecross and St. Patrick’s will take place over the weekend of 13th, 14th, and 15th of September.

While probably only three teams could realistically challenge for senior honours a host of clubs would fancy their chances in the Intermediate section. Ironically both Clann Eireann and Clan na Gael who clash in the first round could be fancied to lift the title. Some clubs have voiced concerns over the restructuring of the All County Leagues which could be completed when the Championships begin in August leaving, in some cases, clubs who have an early Championship exit facing an eight month break before the start of the next season.
