Local indoor bowls league begins this week

A new indoor season will begin in the Ballymena & District League next Monday night.

All of last season’s competing teams are back in action, although BUSC have moved from their Slemish Drive base and will now play their home games at Ballymena Bowling Club, under the name of BIBC ‘A’.

The following fixtures have been scheduled for the opening week of the season:

Division One: BPFA ‘A’ v Golf Club; BIBC v JTI; MIchelin v BIBC ‘A’; Clough Rangers v Old Bleach.

Division Two: BPFA ‘B’ v Portglenone CC; Antrim LBC v Golf Seniors; Services ‘A’ v Harryville CC; Moneyglass v Services ‘B’.

Division Three: Eaton Park v Maine; Glenravel v All Saints; Round Tower v West Church.
