Local talent shines at Euro Pool Masters
MOUNTFERN Adult Centre ladies pool teams were right on cue at the recent European Pool Masters 2010 in Bridlington.
Taking part were Valerie Taggart and Roisin Toner.
Roisin played for the Ladies B Team while Valerie was a member of the A Team - with both teams winning the team competitions.
Valerie also won the Speed Pool Competition with Briege McFall and Valerie completed a successful tournament by taking the runner-up spot in the European Pool Masters Ladies Individuals.
Valerie and Roisin would like to thank Kit Cairns, their carer, who took them to Bridlington for the competition.
