Locals in action at Aghadowey
A NUMBER of drivers from the Ballymena area were on the podium at the most recent meeting at Aghadowey Stock Car Stadium, on July 23.
Jerome Doherty (Ballymena) took third place in the opening heat of the 1600 Lightning Rods, while Campbell Percy (Randalstown) won the opening heat in the 2L Sierra class.
In the Junior Stocks, Curtis Greer (Cullybackey) was runner-up in both the second heat and the final.
The next meeting – the King of Aghadowey Championships – takes place this Saturday, August 7, racing starts 1pm.
