Locals set to take to the track

Nutts Corner will be the centre of attention this Saturday when the sixth round of the the Ulster Karting Club (UKC) promoted Ulster Championship takes place.

The series is considered by many as the premier club series in Ireland and with the Irish Kart Grand Prix only a few weeks away on August 24-25 this will be the last chance for full race practice before the biggest event on the Irish calendar.

Racing throughout the Ulster Championship to date has been closely fought for and this Saturday will be no different with all the non gearbox classes taking in three heats and a final.

Points are scored in all four races on the day, with double points in the finals.
