Defender Janet Clarke hit some well placed frees allowing Mossley to take advantage of the free space. The second half began with great determination. Lisa Lowry dispatched a great shot in a tightly defended circle to give the Glade girls the lead.

However, close to the end a quick break saw Ballymena's right winger manage to bring the scores level.

Thirds: A pleasing win for Mossley Ladies 3rds against Instonians. Mossley had a game full of good passing and plenty of chances in the circle. All three goals came from Freda Black, who had a very impressive game and was always there to add that final touch.

The team worked very well together throughout the whole match, proving in the great passing up front. The ball was quickly cleared by the defence also with some very good saves from the goalkeeper.

Demi Cummings and Sophie Adams also had good performances, working well together down the centre of the pitch.
