Maeve leads field
ON the Diamond Jubilee holiday Tuesday the Lady members participated in their annual Royal British Legion charity competition.
In addition the winning lady received Mrs Magee’s prize as well. The overall winner was young Maeve Cummins with a score of 38 points. The in-form Niamh McSherry took the gross with a tally of 31 points. The sectional winners were as follows:
Section One: Christine Hagan 35 pts.Section Two: Eileen McCann 34 pts. Section Three: Anne Nicholson 35 pts.
In the twos the two winning ladies were Eileen McCann and Kathleen McGoldrick.
