Manor Thistle set for cup final

THE Ballyrashane Cup concludes this Saturday.

Manor Thistle will play East End in the final at Coleraine Showgrounds this Saturday.

Manor Thistle beat Railway Arms last Thursday night to take their place in the showpiece, while on Saturday East End beat Garvagh to book their place in Saturday's final.

The final will kick off at 2pm.

Meanwhile in the LMA league, Sainsbury's will meet Joey's Bar in the League Cup final on Monday, July 5, kick off 7pm.

The game will be played at Coleraine Showgrounds. Entrance is 2 and all money raised will go towards the Caring Caretaker's charities.

Glebe Rangers boss Gareth Scott wished Manor Thistle the best of luck ahead of their match.

Meanwhile, Glebe Rangers are back in pre-season training this Thursday night.

The lads will take to Paddys Park, Dervock as they begin their preparations for the new campaign.

Scott said his door was open to anyone who feels they have what it takes to compete at Championship level.

He said: "My message to any young player, or any player not so young, who still fancies a crack at being involved with the fastest growing, most progressive club in the area is that they will be made more than welcome at Glebe Rangers."
