O’Reillys 5-3 Mulhollands A - Defending champions O’Reillys pulled themselves levell with McGrath’s and to within one point of the leaders with a great come back win against Mulhollands.. The home side found themselves 3-1 down as Wes McDowell, Davy Jones and Wayne Beggs took three of the opening four frames. Colly Wilton had taken the second frame for O’Reillys inbetween. The home side then hit great form as Michael Ward started the come back and he was quickly followed by Ryan Ramano and Paddy Donachy and the honour of securing the victory and the points was all David Topley’s as he held his nerve in the final frame.

First & Last A 4-4 McGraths A - The First & Last had a strong finish to snatch a draw against a high flying Mc Graths side who were 4-2 up in this match. Cathal Mathews took the opening frame for the visitors but that lead was short lived as Brian McCourt showed his undoubted class by levelling the match in the next. McGraths then took control of the match as Liam Gribben and Stephen Burns were both impressive in their matches to open up a two frame advantage that was quickly back to a single frame as Kieran McCourt took the next. Seamus Mc Grath then came out on top in a tight match to secure at least a point for the away side. With the pressure well and truly on Aiden McCourt brilliantly desptched his opponent with a great display of positional and potting skills. Philip McCourt then stepped up to the plate for The First & Last and called on all his experiance and nerve to pull out a great finish to secure what at one stage looked an unlikely point for the home side.

Banbridge Golf Club 5-3 Imperial Inn - The Golf Club pulled themselves off the foot of The McLean’s bookmakers league table with a tight win against their nearest rivals on Tuesday night. It did not go all their way despite taking an early two frame lead through Trevor Woods and Carl Jones. The Imperial hit straight back with wins from P Buchanan, M Jamison and B Kerr to take the lead in the match. The home side were determined not to be beaten and took the final three frames through Kevin Smith, Matthew Smith and finaly Ciaron Davis who secured the win.

Banbridge Legion 4-4 Higgins - The Legion are turning out to be the league’s draw specialists as they recorded their fifth of the season on Tuesday. Gareth Moody started the night off for the visitors and when he was followed by Noel Meara and Brendan Davis and when B Berry won the fifth after J McCahon had pulled one back for the home side it looked as if it was going to be an easy night for the Scarva street outfit. But the Legion had other ideas as they won the final three frames to take a well earned point through D Horner ,Sid Kerr and finaly A Magill.
