Marty’s Run this weekend

THIS Sunday, the third annual Marty Gallagher 5KM Run and Walk will take place.

The continues to be staged by Foyle Valley A.C. in memory of Marty Gallagher, a gifted and much respected member of the club who was tragically knocked down and killed on November 1st, 2009.

Foyle Valley AC continues to be grateful for all the work and all the support from the Gallagher family circle in helping to organise this event

The run and walk will get underway opposite St. Brigid’s College on the Glengalliagh Road and the route will take the runners and walkers along the Skeoge Road and the Buncrana Road to finish at the Templemore Sports Complex.

Registration will be held at the Templemore Sports Complex between 12noon and 5pm on Saturday and from 9am to 10.30am on Sunday.

The race itself will start at 11am sharp.
