Matthew is selected for Ulster

After finishing in the top ten in the Ulster Boys Amateur Open Championship at County Armagh Golf Club, Matthew McKnight from Lisburn, was selected for the Ulster Boys' team to play in the Interprovincial series at Ballinrobe in County Mayo.

Matthew's rounds of 74, 76, 69 and 72 left him nine shots behind the winner, Jack Hume from Rathsallagh in County Wicklow. This is the first year that the championship has been decided on 72 holes of stroke play.
