Mayor praises historic victory

Speaking after Coleraine’s 2-11 to 0-15 historic win at Celtic Park at the weekend, the Mayor paid tribute to the “hard work and commitment” of the team.

“For a relatively new team set-up Eoghan Rua have excelled at county football.

“These sportsmen have put in a heroic effort on behalf of this town and both they and their management team are worthy of the highest of praise.

“I wish them every success with their future campaign in the Ulster Club Championships.”
