McClean aids Athletic to third win

INVER Athletic recorded only their third league win this season with this 3-1 victory over Steadfast.

Inver led by a goal at half-time through a McCracken header from a Haveron corner. Ricky Neill made a few last-ditch tackles to keep Inver in front.

In the second half the Larne men doubled the lead when a McCracken shot hit the bar and fell to McClean, who controlled the ball to score from close range.

McClean got his second when he wrong-footed the Steadfast keeper.

Spirited Steadfast continued to press and got their reward with a close header in the dying minutes
