McDonagh’s play-off success sees off Station

Teams from Larne Pool League returned from a Christmas and New Year hiatus and it was business as usual for the top four.

The Saints were the only team, however, who didn’t get it all their own way and it took a Dean McDonagh play-off success to secure a 9-7 win at Station Bar.

McDonagh landed a hat-trick during the match along with team-mate Gary Johnston. Station’s Ciaran O’Toole also pocketed a treble.
