McKinstry continues to blaze a trail at Dundrum

The in form Fit N Running athlete was in a class of his own as he swept to victory on the multi terrain course in picturesque County Down.

MASTERS CROSS COUNTRY

James and Paula Wallace were in action at Queens University sports grounds on Saturday morning.

The event was the Northern Ireland Masters trials for the forthcoming home International Cross Country championships.

Paula claimed 7th in her age group. James produced a fine display despite the effects of a flu virus to finish 5th in his age group.

CLUB ANNIVERSARY PARTY

Next Saturday evening sees Fit N Running celebrate their fourth anniversary at the Pizza Parlour in Ballymena.

The event will also celebrate the graduation of the current beginners group who will have successfully completed their 8 week course.

The club’s beginners class is now in week 7 and meet at 7.30pm on Monday evening.

Fit N Running also have an intermediate runners class on Monday evenings, an advanced. class on Tuesday evenings and 2 strength conditioning circuit classes on Wednesday evenings.

All of these start at 615pm with the earlier circuit class on Wednesday starting at 515pm.
