McKinstry takes fourth in Open Race at Bann Classic

Four riders from West Down Wheelers took part in the Bann Classic at the weekend, and all of them gave a very good performance.

In the big main race Paul Wilkinson, and Darren Lynas, rode an action packed race, never afraid to have a go with both trying to win, but it wasn’t their day.

In the supporting race Matt McKinstry had a fantastic Fourth place overall, with Andy finishing well up as well.

The four riders have been performing really well in the open races this year and with Allister McCourt, Karl Wells and Clive Adamson about to tackle them again it’s looking good for the club, not to rule out one of the new riders, Dave Friz, starting them as well.
