McMullan seals William Boyd title

FOURTEEN handicapper Ronnie McMullan was in excellent form at Castlerock Golf Club in the William Boyd Memorial which he won with a great score of 44 stableford points.

He still only won by a single point from runner up Adam Crothers, playing off a thirteen handicap, who was also on top of his game scoring 43 points.

In the lower handicappers competition it was John Hanson playing off eight who won through with a score of 41 points, while the higher handicapper’s category prize went to Andy Henry who playing off eighteen posted the second 43 point haul of the day.

The best gross was won by four handicapper Jim O’Rorke with 39 gross points while the senior’s prize went to Victor Eakin playing off nineteen with 39 points.
