Mid-Antrim underdogs for latest Zone fixture
After beating East Antrim in their opening round tie, Mid-Antrim were always likely to face Mid-Ulster, who overcame Larne in their opening hurdle.
Mid Antrim go into this game under no illusions whatsoever against a team whose ambitions, capabilities and indeed expectations, are to add to their record 10 Boomer Cup wins already achieved.

Of course, favourites can be beaten and on any given day the underdog can prevail. If the hosts go into the game remembering that they are not playing reputations and concentrate on each bowl then anything is possible. No doubt an intriguing afternoon of bowls lies ahead.
The Mid Antrim selectors have made three changes from their 1st round game which see recalls for Willie Fullerton, Andy Duncan and Stephen Shields. The full team is:
Rink one: S Shields (First Broughshane), M McMaster (First Ahoghill), I Craig (BPFA), W Morrison (First Ahoghill).
