Mid Ulster bowlers claim eighth British Top Team title

Mid Ulster made it a successful eighth appearance in the British Top Team competition with a comprehensive win over England’s representatives, Cheshire and Wales representatives, Swansea.

Cheshire had claimed the title in 2011 when Northern Zone represented Ireland, but this time they and Swansea were completely overwhelmed by a Mid Ulster side who never looked in danger of losing.

Such was their superiority that victory was gained with two of the six games still to play.
