Midweek Triples League and cup action well underway

The Midweek Triples League is up and running throughout the summer months.

The league gives an opportunity for established clubs such as Ballymena, Portglenone and Old Bleach an opportunity to give some younger members their first taste of competitive bowls.

It also enables clubs such as Ahoghill and Broughshane, who don’t play in any estbalished league, an opprtunity to play in a match situation.

Antrim I booked their place in the semi-finals of the league’s knockout competition with a 15-shot win over Broughshane, while Ballymena were narrow three-shot victors over Old Bleach with the game finishing 35-32.
