At each Ulster Rugby fixture at Ravenhill, mini rugby teams from across the Province are invited to participate in ‘Centra Half Time’.

This initiative, sponsored by Centra and its independent retailers, provides aspiring rugby players with the fantastic opportunity to play on the Ravenhill pitch, with encouragement from thousands of fans.

The Pro 12 match against the Welsh side also provided Strabane U11s with the opportunity to meet Ulster Rugby players Paddy Wallace, Adam Macklin and David McIlwaine, as well as everyone’s favourite mascot Sparky.

The Strabane youngsters might be asked back, as they proved to be a lucky mascot themselves that night as Mark Anscombe’s side won 10-7.
