Mishap puts the brakes on party

THE Glebe Rangers delegation fell off the wagon on Saturday after the club's game with Bangor - but it wasn't due to high spirits following the side's excellent result!

The players, staff and fans were forced to file off the club coach on the way home after it broke down outside Templepatrick.

Efforts to get the vehicle back on the road proved fruitless so family members and friends back in Ballymoney geared up and set sail in their cars - Armada style - to retrieve the stricken party.

Rather than wishing to throttle someone for the unfortunate incident, Glebe gaffer Gareth Scott laughed it off.

Thankfully the team didn’t run out of juice on the day with Rangers coasting to victory against the Seasiders.

The side will be hoping for more luck when they take to the field tonight, revved up ahead of their match with Ballinamallard.

It’s sure to be a taxing encounter but here’s hoping Glebe are clutching another three points come full-time, eh boys?
