Mixed results for Colts youngsters

RATHFRILAND started very brightly using their strengths one of which being Adam Loughlin's long throw-ins with Kaia Lynch benefiting and scoring the opening goal.

The Colts continued and went two up through an own goal which came from an Adam Loughlin corner.

But for great defending from Tullyvallen the Colts could have went futher ahead early on.

In the second half the Colts secured victory when Joshua Ingram fired home after some hesitance in the Tullyvallen defence.

This was a terrific performance with the Colts continuing where they left off two weeks ago.

This was always going to be a tough battle against a stong Midway team.

The Colts did themselves proud with a terrific battling performace from all and were unlucky not to take the lead through Kaia Lynch with the ball just running away from him as he went for goal and then Adam Loughlin hitting the post from an acute angle.

In the second half the Colts fought valiantly and were unlucky to be caught on the counter attack by Midway.

Although beat 1-0 this was a fantastic performance which very player can be proud of.
