MIXED RESULTS IN SEMI FINALS

As the 2012/13 season has run its conclusion for many, it’s all about competing in the final stages for trophies and both Coleraine’s U13s and U15s found themselves facing Ballyclare in two semi final games, played at CAI due to the annual Coleraine Mini Rugby Tournament using all pitches at Rugby Avenue.

With conditions suiting fast, ball-in-hand rugby it was the Coleraine U15s who impressively booked their place in the final of the Plate with a 19-12 win over Ballyclare whilst their younger counterparts narrowly missed making it a double over the visitors by losing 27-29.

Congratulations to the U15s who will face Armagh in the final at a neutral venue yet to be confirmed, possibly next Saturday 20th April.

Coleraine Officials are grateful to CAI for allowing the Youth teams to play their games at the school on Saturday.
