Moneymore GFC

OUR Go Games season ended today when our Under 10, Under 8 and Under 6 teams travelled to Moneyglass. Four teams in total fielded and competed very well with the hosts and Newbridge.

We would very much like thank Moneyglass for the invite. The club would also like to thank all the parents and coaches who helped out over the season and not forgetting our young gaels who done very well this year and done everything that was asked of them.

The Under 13s lost to Glenullin on Wednesday night but put in a spirited performance against an unbeaten Glenullin side coached by All Ireland medal winner Dermot McNicholl. McIvor and Conway couldn’t outwit their former colleague on the evening.

The lads miss out on a Q/F spot on score difference. We hope there is more to come from this age group.

Well done lads! Team - Liam McInness, Dylan Bloomer, Shea Bell, Kieran Moore, Aaron Wilson, Aodhan Conway, Aaron Moore, Oisin O’Neill, Dylan Collins, Tieran O’Neill, Sean Marshall, Conor McInness and Ryan McAllister.

Under 13 Ladies play Limavady in the Championship semi final on Tuesday evening at 7.30 in Dungiven/Ballinascreen. Venue to be confirmed. Good Luck to the girls and management.

Saturday 26th November is the date for our Centenary Dinner in the Glenavon House Hotel Cookstown 7.30pm start. Live Music by Hype. The special guests on the evening will be incoming President of Cumann Luthchleas Gael Liam O’Neill, All Ireland medal winner in 1993 and four times Allstar Tony Scullion and Derry County Secretary Liam Peoples.
