Moneyslane under 11s are held by Lisdrum
On Saturday the under elevens took on Lisdrum in the league and we’re soon one down when a throw in from Lisdrum was not cleared and found its way to their striker and he put it passed Richie into the Slane net.
After this early shock the young Slane side took control again with wave after wave of attack and got the equaliser when Crawford flicked the ball neatly on to Megaw who once again found the corner with her sixth goal in four games
The second half continued in the same manner with Slane creating a lot of chances but failing to kill the game with the Lisdrum keeper pulling of some great saves to stop shots from Davis and Crawford.
