Mossley no match for Banbridge

Mossley Men’s 1st XI proved no match for Banbridge as they went down 8-0 in Sunday’s Kirk Cup semi-final.

Goals from Matthew Bell, Bruce McCandless (two), Jamie Wright, Stevie Dowds (two), Johnny McKee and Dane Ward put paid to any hopes Mossley had of reaching the Boxing Day showpiece.

The result compunded a poor weekend for the Glademen who succumbed to 4-0 defeat at the hands of Annadale in the Premier League on Saturday.
