Appeal to NW bikers

LONDONDERRY bikers are urged not to miss a major show scheduled for Northern Ireland’s motorcycling Mecca, Ballymoney, at the beginning of March.

The Ballymoney Motorcycle Show and Auto Jumble is set to take place on March 4/5 at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre.

It will open on the Friday from 5pm to 10pm before closing on Saturday from 10am to 5pm.

Admission is £6 for adults and £2 for under 12s and OAPs. Free trade stands will be available with a donation to the show’s chosen charity all that is required.

A large display of bikes of all sorts from road racing to vintage will be one of the major attractions.

Top local riders will be attending. Stalls supplying clothing, helmets, parts, art work photos, books and badges will be installed.

“There will be competitions and prizes for all ages so come along and have a good family day out,” said a spokesman.
