Hungarian racer Sandor Bitter has died

The 44-year-old’s death was confirmed on Thursday morning.
Mr Bitter previously competed at the North West 200, Isle of Man TT, Ulster Grand Prix and Macau as well as Irish National road race meetings including Cookstown and Tandragee.
In 2011, he briefly joined Ryan Farquhar’s KMR Kawasaki team and raced alongside Farquhar and Ballymoney man Adrian Archibald, who rode a Kawasaki Supertwin in the famous orange and black livery for the Dungannon team owner.

Mr Bitter had linked up with Crumlin’s Stephen Thompson this year to ride a Superstock BMW S1000RR under the T&R Motorsport banner.
Thompson was badly injured in a crash himself at the North West 200 in May and later had part of his lower left arm removed as a result of the injuries he sustained.
