The Mayor said, “I am very pleased to be hosting such a meaningful charity evening in aid of these important charities. Air Ambulance NI is campaigning for the operation of a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service throughout Northern Ireland.

“There is a need to provide a fully effective and integrated road and air response emergency medical system that meets best patient response standards and outcomes for patients.

“The Vauxhall International North West 200, one of the world’s fastest road races, and the Armoy Road Races brings two outdoor sporting events to our Borough that by their nature are high octane sports that would benefit from the availability of an air ambulance. The support of both Air Ambulance NI and Headway is especially critical for these events, not forgetting the casualties every day throughout Northern Ireland.”

Tickets are priced at £500 for a table of 10 or £50 per person, cheques should be made payable to Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council. For further information or to purchase a ticket please contact the Mayor’s Office on [email protected].
