McCormick leads Irish title race

The local rider racked up three wins from three starts in the class on a day when he wrecked two rear wheels on his Agnew Recovery / Watts Motorcycles KTM.

“I buckled then broke the rear rim in qualifying and still was second-fastest,” smiled Glenn.

“In my opening race I made a decent start then pulled a race-winning gap by the flag. Although I made a bad start in race two I rode hard to lead by the end of the third lap and then in my final race I wrecked another wheel after a hard landing off a jump.

“I still won though. Now I’m looking forward to this weekend’s British Championship at Hawkestone Park.”
