Meara brothers’ success
Saturday August 3 saw round six of the Irish Motocross Championships pitch up at Desertmartin on a dry, warm day.
In the Expert MX1 Class, John Meara from Loughbrickland had a better day at the office, finishing fourth overall on the TMC Honda. Younger brother Jason finished runner up in the MX2 Class on the AMR Honda behind nemesis Glenn McCormick, a bad result in race 3 spoiling his score.
Craig Browne from Greyabbey had a better day too scoring an excellent 32 points, and in the MX2 Class, Moira’s Scott Hamilton finished a great fourth scoring 50 points.
Next racing action for the Club members is at Tinker Hill on August 17.
