‘Meet The Riders’ event to launch 2014 NW200

The launch of the Vauxhall International North West 200 will have a new look for 2014 with the announcement that there is to be a special Meet The Riders event on Monday 31 March.

Following the official press launch during the day, race fans will have the chance to get free tickets to meet the top race stars of the event at a special chat show and social evening in the Titanic Suite of the Titanic Building, Belfast at 7pm.

Many of the top stars of the race, including Michael Dunlop, John McGuinness, Stuart Easton, Alastair Seeley, Ian Hutchinson, Josh Brookes, William Dunlop, Jeremy McWilliams and Ryan Farquhar, will be there on the night. A chat show will be hosted by Stephen Watson of the BBC, before race fans will get the chance to meet their favourite riders for photographs and autographs. A line-up of some of the top machinery that will be competing in this year’s races will also be on display.

Fans will have an opportunity to meet and discuss the 2014 races with the North West 200 organisers, the BBC commentary team and all of the sponsors and partners of the event, including Coleraine Borough Council, on the evening. Alongside the current stars, riders from North Wests of yesteryear will also being making special guest appearances.
