Set to represent the leading British Superbike team, Hawk Racing, at the Isle of Man TT race, Michael will be on familiar grounds, having already won this competition eleven times previously.

Michael’s success is continuing on home turf, having recently won the NW200 Road Racing Superbike race, on the famous triangle course running between Portstewart, Coleraine and Portrush.

The Kia dealership, already well known for its involvement in road racing events, is the perfect fit to sponsor Michael as he embarks on a season of high speed biking.

As part of the well-known Dunlop racing dynasty, which includes racing successes William, Robert and Joey Dunlop, it’s set to be a busy summer for Michael as he tours the UK.

To enable him to travel efficiently between events, the Kia dealer has provided him with a top of the range all-new Kia Sorento, sure to offer style and comfort whilst traveling across the UK.

“It’s brilliant to have the support of my local Kia dealer, especially the use of my new Sorento, which will come in handy with all the travelling that the racing season entails,” said Michael Dunlop.

“The team at Roadside always cheer me on from the stands, and I hope that this year, they’ll be able to see me scoop the Isle of Man TT Winner title for the 12th time.”

David Boyd, Retail Operator at Roadside Garages Kia commented; “Motorbike racing is becoming increasingly popular in Northern Ireland, and particularly in the North West where we are based, so it’s an honour to sponsor Michael and we look forward to this year’s big race.”
