Due to be held at Aghadowey, some of the better known road and short circuit racers like William Dunlop, Jamie Hamilton, Padraig Graham and the Patterson brothers Jamie and Ross, are due to be taking part.

My plan at the minute is to be at that.

MCUI TRAINING DAYS

I had a quick word with Jim Cray and he tells me that he has two training days confirmed.

Both are at Bishopscourt. The first of them is 15th February and the second is 21st February.

Jim hopes to be in a position to confirm a third school shortly, most likely at Kirkistown.

New riders must remember that attendance at the training school is mandatory, and their licence will not be issued till they take part.

RDS BIKE SHOW

The Carol Nash sponsored Irish Motorcycle and Scooter Show is drawing ever closer.

In 2013, something like 27,000 bike fans were verified as having attended over the three day duration of the event.

The show, which only takes place in Dublin every two years, is being held for the ninth time.

I will have more information on special guests etc, a bit nearer the show time.

It runs from the 27th February till the 1st March. Friday it opens from 2.30pm until 9.30pm, while on Saturday and Sunday its 10am till 6pm.

Cost is a very reasonable €15 for adults or €12 for students and OAP’s. Under 12’s go free.
