Motorcycle festival is under starter’s orders

The official launch of the 2014 Adelaide/Blackhorse Motorcycle Festival took place in the Ramada Hotel last week ahead of next month’s event.

This year’s festival will once again take place in the King’s Hall, Belfast on February 7th, 8th and 9th. It will be Nutt Promotions’ nineteenth motorcycle extravaganza and organisers are sure this will be one of the best especially with the support of Adelaide Insurance and Blackhorse.

The Adelaide Blackhorse Motorcycle Festival will have everything from the motorcycle and karting world worth seeing under one roof. Alongside all the new models, classic machinery, displays and accessories, there will be a hot line up of two-wheel stars to mingle and meet the thousands of fans.

Crossan Motorcycles will have a wide range of clothing and helmets at their stand with discounts of as much as fifty percent available.

Phillip McCallen is now almost as well known for his motorcycle emporium as for his road racing exploits and he will have no less than 50 bikes on his stand which will represent Triumph, Kawasaki and KTM.

2014 will be an important year for Charles Hurst Motorcycles and Yamaha UK with in excess of twelve new models to be released. Charles Hurst Motorcycles are delighted to report that the new models for 2014 will be on their stand at the Adelaide Blackhorse Motorcycle Festival. Charles Hurst Motorcycles will again have a selection of used bikes on display, with their Price Promise.

Well known in the road racing game, Millsport Ducati will be in Belfast for the festival. They will be showing off the following models - the new Monster 1200 and Panigale 899 ABS, Panigale 1199S, Diavel Stripe, Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak, Hypermotard, Monster 696, Panigale 1199, Hyperstrada, Diavel Strada and Panigale 1199R.

Belfast Harley-Davidson will be bringing an all new stand to this year’s show. Some of the highlights will include the new ‘Project Rushmore’ touring bikes with twin-cooling, the highly acclaimed Softail Breakout, the redesigned Fat Bob, ABS equipped Sportsters, and for the performance orientated riders, the V-Rod Muscle.

They’ll also have a selection of Harley-Davidson riding and casual clothing, kids clothing, glassware and ‘collectibles’, and even some pet products for the four legged members of the family! Something for everyone on Stand Number 1.

Multi Franchise Dealer GS Motorcycles with showrooms in Hillsborough and Ballymena will have on show their range of Suzuki motorcycles, including the new DL1000V-Strom, DL650 V-Strom, GSX1250FA plus one of William Dunlop’s TAS race bikes and a limited edition Yoshimura GSXR750, along with C1500T Custom, Hayabus, GSXR600, GW250 Inazuma. Also GS Motorcycles will have some of their latest Victory and Indian Motorcycles.

Honda is gearing up for this years Adelaide Blackhorse Motorcycle Festival where a number of its exciting new-for-2014 models will be on show for the very first time. Local dealers Allens Honda, Belfast Honda and Russells Off Road will be on the stand to discuss your motorcycle needs. The off-road fraternity will as usual be out in force at the Adelaide Blackhorse Motorcycle Festival.

The BBB Motorcycle Club raised over £20,000 for local charities in 2013 and this year aim to raise thousands for ‘Cash for Kids’ which brings hope, healing and happiness to young people in Northern Ireland. You can make a donation at the festival and at the same time try and win the Yamaha MT-09 by trying to guess the code of a safe which holds the bike’s keys.
