NW200: Jeremy McWilliams wins Supertwins race

Jeremy McWilliams says his second North West 200 victory is “right up there” as a career highlight after he beat Ryan Farquhar in the Supertwins race.

McWilliams said: “I never thought on the wrong side of 50, I’d be sitting on the top step of the podium at the North West 200.”

The former Grand Prix rider turned the tables on his SGS/KMR Kawasaki team boss, who won Thursday’s opening Supertwins race.

JAmie Hamilton from Ballyclare clinched the last place on the rostrum in third on John Burrows’ Kawasaki ahead of Christian Elkin.
