Steven leads the way in Superbike championship

STONEYFORD rider Steven Bloomer is leading the way in the Irish Superbike Cup Championship after three rounds.

Steven is well on course to achieve his target of winning the championship and moving into the National class next year.

He started racing when he was 17 in motocross and after five years began supermoto, which is a mix of motocross and short circuit, in which he rode at top level in the Ulster and Irish Championship finishing 5th in the Ulster Championship in 2008.

Steven also rode selected British Championship rounds, where he qualified pole for British Support Class. After moving to short circuit he now leads the way in what is a promising season.

Success does not come easy as Steven trains at the gym and cycles over 100 miles a week and also competes in time trials.

At the minute Steven is racing on a low budget and has no main sponsor so if any one thinks they can help in any way they can contact him on 0759038428.
