The world comes to the NW200!

RACE fans from all over the world have already booked their seats for next month Relentless International North West 200, the organisers have revealed.

Visitors from the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium and Italy - as well as from the British Isles and Isle of Man have snapped up premium grandstands seats for the May 19 spectacle.

And with just a few weeks left until the event the Coleraine and District Motor Club is urging fans and visitors to book their grandstand seats as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Seats and programme packages are selling extremely quickly and Mervyn Whyte, NW200 technical director, is expecting a full house on race day.

“We’ve currently sold a large percentage of our 4000 grandstand seats and are looking forward to packed houses and a great atmosphere in all four grandstand locations,” said Whyte.

Grandstands are once again located on the course at the start-line and York Corner with two grandstands adjacent to the Paddock area (Paddock 1 and Paddock 2). All four grandstands feature Olympic standard.

Seats cost £20 and £25 with the option to upgrade to complete race packages which include official programmes and paddock passes.

Paddock admission will be required at all times to gain access to Paddocks 1 and 2 grandstands. Grandstand tickets only will not allow access to paddock. If a grandstand seat is purchased for Race Day (Saturday) then it will allow access to the grandstand for the entire week. Numbered seats will only be allocated on Saturday.

During the week (practice sessions) seats are on a first come first served basis only.

“This year Saturday grandstand tickets can also be used throughout the week, offering fans excellent value for money, though specific seat numbers will only be adhered to on Saturday race day,” added Mervyn.

“To book your seat visit www.northwest200.org and click on grandstands.”
